The burger is great. My coworker told me to give it a try and it was well worth it. Great prices too, i ate a burger, fries and soda for less than $15. The space is a little dated, but it's well kept so it doesn't feel neglected

Very good steakhouse with decent prices. The ribs are out of this world, hands down best ribs ever - juicy, flavorful and fall off the bones. They also have the best MD crab soup I’ve ever had, perfectly seasoned and full of crab meat. The crabcake was also very good and meaty with not a lot of filler. I was not a huge fan of the potato skins because they had cheese sauce vs melted cheese, but I feel like that was personal preference. The steak fries were also not what I expected as they were more of a potato wedge than a steak fry. The lobster was as a little on the dry side. Definitely try the chocolate mousse or house made eclair for dessert, very tasty! I would recommend making reservations if you plan to dine here - we did not but got lucky enough to be able to sit at the bar to eat. The bartender/server was very attentive and nice. I would definitely recommend for a nice lunch or dinner.

Steak was overcooked and unseasoned which is how they serve all their steaks. Seems odd to me but make sure to ask for it seasoned if that’s what you like. I got the special which was a steak and crab cake. Salad was extremely small but the dressing was excellent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Culhane’s Steak House: Where Steak Dreams Go to Rage!” Culhane’s isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s a meat-fueled rock concert wrapped in a whiskey-scented hug. Tucked into Cumberland like a well-kept local legend, this place doesn’t just serve food—it throws down a full-throttle flavor experience that grabs your taste buds by the collar and shouts, “You’re welcome.” The steaks? Absolute monsters. Thick-cut, sizzling, perfectly crusted on the outside, juicy on the inside like they were forged by lightning in a cast-iron thunderstorm. I had a ribeye that made me question every other steak I’ve eaten in my life. It wasn’t just good—it was savage-level delicious. The sides? Built to ride shotgun: buttery mashed potatoes, baked mac that tastes like it was engineered in a comfort food lab, and garlic bread that should probably be illegal. The vibe? Straight-up vintage swagger with no gimmicks. Dark wood, low light, and a staff that knows exactly what you want before you do. Zero fluff. Just steak, spirit, and soul. Culhane’s is what happens when old-school steakhouse tradition gets a jolt of rock ’n’ roll adrenaline. If you’re looking for a bland chain meal, keep driving. If you want the kind of dinner that makes you high-five strangers in the parking lot, this is your meaty Valhalla. Five stars, no question. I’d give it six if I could carve one into a T-bone.

We came in 30 mins before 9pm. The place was empty. Turns out the google times for their hours of operations were wrong. However they were able to serve us right before they closed. Sue, our waiter was great. She was very knowledgeable and courteous . The value for the food was excellent. The food came out perfect. The steaks are better than most chain steak houses in the area and better priced. Great value if you are looking for a great dinner. Also the peanut pie was delicious!

Culhane’s Steak House, tucked away at 1 Laurel Rd in New Cumberland, PA, is a classic steakhouse that delivers an honest, no-nonsense dining experience. Walking into Culhane’s feels like stepping back in time—a place where tradition meets robust, unapologetic flavor. The dark wood and low lighting set a vintage mood, while the attentive staff ensures your meal flows smoothly from start to finish.

The stars of the menu here are the steaks, and rightly so. Thick-cut and expertly crusted, each steak arrives juicy and bursting with meaty goodness. The ribeye, in particular, stands out as a seriously memorable cut—rich, bold, and tender enough to challenge your idea of what a steak can be. It’s a full-throttle flavor experience, where every bite commands attention and satisfaction.

Beyond the steaks, Culhane’s offers a range of noteworthy dishes. The ribs are legendary—falling off the bone with a juicy, smoky finish that leaves a lasting impression. The Maryland crab soup is a standout as well, perfectly seasoned and loaded with sweet crab meat, a true reflection of local flavors. Crabcakes here are dense, meaty, and far from the filler-heavy versions you often find elsewhere.

Sides at Culhane’s match the quality of the mains, with buttery mashed potatoes and baked macaroni that evoke a comforting, indulgent feeling. Garlic bread arrives with a perfect balance of crispness and aroma, rounding out the meal with satisfying simplicity.

Though some minor missteps exist—like a slightly dry lobster or the potato skins featuring a cheese sauce rather than melted cheese—the overall experience favors authenticity over polish. The menu is straightforward, the environment relaxed, and the prices remain fair, making it accessible for both casual lunches and memorable dinners.

Culhane’s embodies the spirit of a traditional American steakhouse energized by a vibrant, rock ’n’ roll attitude. It’s not just a meal; it’s an event where food, atmosphere, and service converge to create a space that invites you to savor every moment and every bite.

If you’re a steak lover seeking a bold, hearty meal served with genuine care and a nostalgic vibe, Culhane’s Steak House is your destination. Just be sure to ask for your steak seasoned the way you like it, and prepare to leave with both your hunger and standards thoroughly satisfied.
